Play therapy is to children what counseling is to adults. This form of therapy uses play to help children express their feelings more easily through toys instead of words. It allows a child to explore their thoughts, emotions and events in their life at their own pace and in a way in which they are most comfortable.

Once you're more aware of the underlying issues that affect your emotions, you will start to recognize your unique triggers and be able to implement new skills and tools to work through your emotions, control your narrative of what's happening, and better communicate solution-oriented responses and dialogue.  

I work closely with individuals and family members to identify problem behaviors and offer solutions. In addition, we will focus on the world of addiction and its far-reaching effects, with the aim of assisting patients in finding the right path to recovery and staying on that path long-term.
